Your adventure begins! We meet at 17:00 for a welcome briefing and you will receive the most important information for the next few days.
Our tour begins in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, at the foot of the Zugspitze (2,962 m), Germany's highest mountain. Varied roads in the border region of Germany and Austria finally lead us over the Riedberg Pass (1,407 m) into the Bregenzerwald, a well-known rural region of Austria's westernmost province, and on to Felkirch. On a walk through the medieval old town, one of the most beautiful in the region, you can marvel at historic buildings, pretty fountains and the historic Schattenburg castle.
We leave Feldkirch behind us and drive right through the heart of the Swiss Alps, enjoying the ride along crystal-clear lakes and majestic mountain panoramas. A ferry ride across Lake Lucerne is a real treat and a welcome break in the middle of this spectacular scenery. Our destination for the day is Grindelwald, a picturesque village in the Swiss Alps known for its breathtaking natural beauty and abundance of outdoor activities. The enchanting sight of the Eiger (3,970 m), Mönch (4,099 m) and Jungfrau (4,158 m) brings this spectacular day of driving to a close.
Grindelwald is the perfect place for a rest day. The backdrop of the Eiger North Face, Wetterhorn and the countless viewpoints and activities make Grindelwald one of the most popular and cosmopolitan vacation and excursion destinations in Switzerland. You can decide whether to take the Jungfrau Railway to the highest railroad station in Europe at 3,454 m, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch", or get on the saddle of your motorcycle and enjoy the spectacular panoramic roads in this region of Switzerland.
We leave Grindelwald with spectacular views of snow-covered peaks and glaciers and ride through green valleys and idyllic Swiss villages towards Italy. We leave the Bernina Pass (2,235 m) behind us and reach Livigno, which was declared a duty-free zone by Napoleon due to its exposed location and was almost inaccessible in winter, is a ski resort in the Italian Alps near the Swiss border and our destination for today.
Our last day of riding takes us back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. However, there are still some real highlights of this tour waiting for us! The "Queen of Pass Roads", the Stelvio Pass (2,757 m), is a term that awakens a longing for curves and hairpin bends in every biker. We continue north past South Tyrolean vineyards and orchards. Lake Reschensee, with its church tower rising out of the water, is a popular photo motif before we cross the border into Austria again and finally arrive back at our starting hotel, where we return our motorcycles.
Have a safe journey home! We hope to see you again soon on one of our tours.
