Amber’s Spanish Adventure

We leave the historic old town and sunny beaches of Málaga behind us. The route takes us through picturesque Andalusian villages and the dramatic mountains of the Sierra Nevada. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain landscape and the surrounding valleys. After a visit to the world-famous Alhambra in Granada, the ride continues through rolling hills, olive groves and impressive landscapes to Antequera, our destination for today.

We leave the charming town of Antequera, known for its rich history and impressive architecture. Today's stage takes us through picturesque villages and impressive natural areas before ending in the historic coastal town of Cádiz. Highlights of this varied day include the Castillo de Olvera, the picturesque Zahara de la Sierra, the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park and the enchanting Arcos de la Frontera.

We leave Cádiz behind us and drive south along the Atlantic coast to the southernmost tip of the Spanish mainland, Tarifa. Along the way, you will experience spectacular coastal landscapes, beautiful sandy beaches and charming coastal villages. Tarifa marks the eastern end of the Costa de la Luz. Due to its strategically important location at the narrowest point of the Strait of Gibraltar, Tarifa has repeatedly been the scene of historical events. Today, the city is one of the "world capitals" for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Ronda, a historic town in the mountains, is our next destination. During the tour, you will experience spectacular coastal landscapes, picturesque white villages that form a beautiful contrast to the mostly deep blue sky and impressive mountain roads. The two bridges in Ronda are extremely popular photo motifs and are therefore also the destination of our tour. The historic old town is always worth a visit and invites you to linger in the shade of the city walls. Of course, a visit to the oldest bullring in Spain is also on the program. This route allows you to enjoy the beauty of both the coast and the interior of Andalusia.

The way back to Málaga takes us through the El Torcal de Antequera National Park. Let yourself be surprised by the winding roads and enjoy experiencing a completely different landscape after every bend. Different karst forms have created constantly changing landscapes here, which often look as if they are out of this world.
