BMW Motorrad Days Transylvania to Garmisch
Sibiu (Hermannstadt), the city nestled in the "Land Beyond the Forest" in Romania, better known as Transylvania, is our starting point for this stunning and unforgettable tour. Every day is a scenic and cultural highlight, leading us to the heart of the Alps in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where we will attend the world’s largest BMW Motorrad gathering.
We begin this incredible motorcycle journey in Sibiu (Hermannstadt), located in the historic region of Transylvania. From there, we travel through the charming city of Timișoara and head into Serbia, where we enjoy a rest day. This unique motorcycle route takes us through the beautiful Balkan nations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Continuing onward, we visit Austria, stopping in Graz, the capital of Styria and known as the "Green Heart of Austria," as well as Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. Our final riding day takes us along Alpine roads to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the host city of the BMW Motorrad Days.
This tour includes breathtaking mountain passes, awe-inspiring landscapes, gentle hills, and majestic Alpine roads. It also showcases culturally significant cities in some of Europe’s most fascinating countries.
Direct flights to Sibiu are available from Munich and Nuremberg, making it easy to begin your adventure in this remarkable destination.
