Your Alpine adventure begins! We meet at 17:00 for the welcome briefing, where you will receive the most important information for the next few days.
Our tour begins in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of the Zugspitze (2,962m), the highest mountain in Germany. The first day's ride takes us through the Bavarian Alps, where we visit one of King Ludwig's legendary castles, to Austria and on to Italy. Livigno, declared a duty-free zone by Napoleon due to its exposed location, which used to be almost inaccessible in winter, is a ski resort in the Italian Alps near the Swiss border and our destination for today.
On the rest day in Livigno, we get on our bikes because an absolute highlight awaits us. The "Queen of Pass Roads", the Stelvio Pass (2,757 m), is a term that awakens a longing for bends and hairpin bends in every biker. It is not only the highest road pass in Italy, but also the second highest pass road in the Alps after the Col de l'Iséran in France. The afternoon then takes us into Switzerland and we visit the noble town of St. Moritz before returning to Livigno on spectacular mountain roads.
We continue to Bolzano, where we should take the opportunity to visit Ötzi. The old town of Bolzano is also always worth a stop. Here we find historic buildings, a mild climate and the opportunity to enjoy a perfect combination of Tyrolean cuisine and Mediterranean flavors, perhaps even a glass of wine from the many wineries in the region.
The next day begins with the journey to a real biker's paradise. The Dolomites attract countless motorcyclists from all over the world every year. It is rare to find such impressive landscapes with such well-maintained roads. The mountains themselves, which got their name from the Frenchman Deodat de Dolomieu, are ideal photo motifs with their colors and shapes. It is therefore not surprising that this region has already attracted many international film crews. We spend the night in Lienz. This small town in Austria impresses with its beautiful old town and the opportunity to take a stroll in the evening.
The final stage takes us along one of the most beautiful panoramic roads to Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3.798 m) and on through the picturesque Bavarian Alpine foothills back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Have a safe journey home! Maybe you're already dreaming of your next motorcycle adventure with us? We would be delighted to welcome you again on one of our tours!
