Rarely will you find such a wide variety of different languages, countries, cultures, sights and ancient cities as in the heart of Europe. A BMW motorcycle from the current program, a van in which to store your luggage and a cheerful tour guide await you in Munich. The journey south takes us through the Bavarian lake district before we ride through the Lechtal nature reserve and arrive in Vorarlberg, where we spend the first night in Feldkirch. A short detour into Switzerland takes us to the Western Alps. The impressive mountains there shine a little higher and more rugged than usual. Livigno is not only known as a winter sports resort, but also as a duty-free zone. You can do some cheap shopping here. On the way to Italy, the roads become even more winding and the passes narrower and higher. Bend after bend, the road leads us into the valley basin to Bolzano - the new home of the 5000-year-old mummy from the ice called "Ötzi". From Bolzano we continue eastwards. We pass the Dolomites, cross East Tyrol and Carinthia in Austria until we finally arrive in Maribor/Slovenia. In this region in particular, the eventful history is sometimes still palpable. Austria's capital awaits us the next day. Vienna, Vienna, you alone shall always be the city of my dreams..... Whether you want to enjoy the relaxed Viennese way of life or visit the numerous art treasures, a rest day in the old imperial city is definitely worthwhile. Make Vienna a special experience. The route back west takes us through the beautiful Wachau region to the Czech Republic. A night in the medieval town of Cesky Krumlov gives an impression of what life was like in the Middle Ages. With many impressions, pictures and stories in our luggage, we return to Munich - the starting point of this tour.
