The most beautiful highlights of Italy, from Rome to Sicily!
We meet in the eternal city, Rome, which can offer so much sightseeing that an earlier arrival to this tour is highly recommended. On our first day of travel, we leave Rome behind and have as our destination the city of Pompei, located south of Mount Vesuvius. To give you the opportunity to see the spectacular excavations, visit the crater of Vesuvius or have "un caffè" in Naples, we will stay 2 nights in Pompei. Our tour now takes us further inland to the Lucanian Dolomites, the cave town of Matera and the Trulli in Alberobello. We continue south to Calabria, where we cross the Stretto di Messina by ferry, land in Sicily and stay 2 nights in the same hotel in Taormina to explore the highlights of the area. The regional park Parco dei Nebrodi lets us enjoy again beautifully winding roads until we reach the colorful city of Palermo in the north-west of the island. We continue south and end our tour in the east of the island, in Catania.

On our first day of driving, we leave Rome behind and have as our destination the city of Pompei, located south of Mount Vesuvius.
To give you the opportunity to see the spectacular excavations, visit the crater of Vesuvius or have "un caffè" in Naples, we will stay 2 nights here in Pompei.
From Pompei we drive along the beautiful and very classic Amalfi Coast and then turn inland to the Lucanian Dolomites.
Today's driving day takes us past the impressive cave town of Matera and the very special trulli in Alberobello. The overnight stay is in Taranto, which is also called the "city of two seas".
We continue south on many winding roads to Calabria and spend the night in its capital, Cosenza, which is well worth seeing.
Today we cross the Stretto di Messina by ferry and arrive in Sicily. Our destination today is on the east coast, in Taormina. The ancient theater and the view of Mount Etna are not the only reason why Taormina is so special.
Today we have a rest day and you can explore Taormina with its sights or relax by the sea. The alternative is on 2 wheels and go up to the crater of the volcano Etna.
Leaving the beautiful city of Taormina, we enjoy winding and deserted roads in the Regional Park Parco dei Nebrodi and have as our destination for the day the city of Palermo, the largest city in the Italian autonomous region of Sicily.
We leave the colorful Palermo and visit the "Valley of the Temples" near Agrigento before ending the day in the small town of Palma de Montechiaro.
Our last day of riding brings us to Catania, with a dreamlike view of the volcano Etna. Here we return our motorcycles.
Today your tour ends after breakfast and we wish you a good journey home and hope to see you again soon on one of our tours. Alla prossima.
