A perfect combination of great sightseeing, experiencing a completely different, unexpected culture and incredibly impressive, diverse landscapes.
From Spain, we cross the Strait of Gibraltar to reach African soil for the first time on this trip. We spend our first night in Morocco in Fes, which has the largest car-free urban area in the world. The donkey is still one of the most widely used means of transportation here. On this tour, we discover mosques, minarets, tanneries, open butcher's shops and many things that you can no longer even imagine today. The tanneries of Chuwwara have not changed their work processes for centuries and are a must for your camera. The next day takes us to the small village of Merzouga, where we spend a night in the desert. We continue to Dades, where we can admire interesting rock formations, the greenery by the river, the rocky desert surroundings and the simple communities that still live here in traditional houses. Marrakech, also known as the "Red City" or "Ochre City", is our next destination. Here we have the opportunity to see the Jemaa el Fna (Square of the Hanged) at night. We discover storytellers, magicians, snake charmers and eat at one of the hundred food stalls - we'll feel like we're in an Indiana Jones movie! Our next stop is on the Atlantic coast: Rabat, the royal capital of Morocco, is one of the Moroccan cities with the highest quality of life. Parts of the new city are considered a successful example of modern urban development. One of the most clearly laid out medinas and monumental buildings, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are surprising in their detail. We leave Africa as we came, by water, reach Spain and ride along the Spanish Mediterranean coast back to our base city of Málaga - a wonderful way to end a motorcyclist's dream vacation.

A long day awaits us today and we set off early in the morning to catch the ferry to Morocco. Once the entry formalities have been completed, we continue our journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Morocco and make our way to the historic city of Fès, one of the four royal cities of Morocco and a true cultural center. The medina of Fès, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its winding alleyways and historic buildings, including the oldest university in the world, the University al-Qarawiyyin. The route takes us through rolling hills and picturesque villages, offering an insight into the local way of life and culture.
We leave the country's oldest royal city, Fez, with its impressive medina, behind us and embark on an impressive journey to the bustling desert city of Merzouga in the heart of the Sahara. On the way, we admire the breathtaking landscape of the Atlas Mountains. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as we explore the highest sand dunes in Morocco from a traditional desert hotel and marvel at the dazzling stars in the night sky.
We take a well-deserved break on our first rest day and enjoy the amenities of the area and are able to relax and recharge our batteries. We also have the opportunity to experience the thrill of a quad bike ride through the desert dunes, take a refreshing dip in a crystal-clear pool or treat ourselves to a pampering spa treatment. We leave the city behind us in comfortable four-wheel drive vehicles and after a proper ride on a real "desert ship" to experience the breathtaking sunset in the dunes, we will spend the night in a luxurious desert camp in the middle of the Sahara.
From Merzouga, we travel to the picturesque Dades Valley, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Atlas Mountains and visit Berber villages. In the Todra Valley, we will marvel at the palm groves and gorges. Our route through the winding roads of the Dades Valley promises adventure, discoveries and unforgettable memories.
We leave the tranquil Dades Valley and embark on a spectacular journey towards Marrakech. Our route takes us over the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass to arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech, the "red city" of Morocco, famous for its colorful medina, historic palaces and lively souks.
A well-deserved rest day in Marrakech. The city is a hub of activity and has plenty to offer those seeking relaxation and adventure. Take a refreshing dip in the hotel's pool, relax with a spa treatment or take a stroll through the winding alleyways of Marrakech's medina. Here you can admire the unique architecture, the colorful souks (markets), historic squares such as the Djemaa el Fna ("Square of the Hanged" or "Square of the Jugglers") and local craftsmanship.
We leave Marrakech behind us and make our way to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. As we drive along the Atlantic coast, we enjoy picturesque views of the sea and the countryside. Rabat is one of the country's four royal cities. It is located on the Atlantic coast and is known for its historical importance, its beautiful beaches and its cultural and architectural sights. Compared to other Moroccan cities such as Marrakech or Fez, Rabat has a rather quiet and relaxed charm, but offers many interesting things to discover.
The last stage takes us through the fertile plains and occasionally through small villages where traditional Moroccan life is palpable, to Tangier and finally back to Málaga, where our adventure began. We will leave the African continent for Europe, cross the Strait of Gibraltar once again and reflect on the memories and experiences we have gathered during this remarkable journey. We drive back to Málaga along the Costa del Sol and enjoy the spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
Your tour ends today after breakfast and we wish you a safe journey home and hope to see you again soon on one of our tours.
