Spain - Portugal

Leaving the historic old town and sunny beaches of Málaga behind us, we cycle through picturesque Andalusian villages to Seville. On the way we come to Ronda, famous for its Moorish-influenced old town with the oldest bullring in Spain. Today's destination, Seville, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe due to its picturesque old town and magnificent Moorish buildings and has been recognized by UNESCO as one of the most historic cities in the world.

Off to Portugal! We leave Seville and make our way towards Portugal first. We drive through the Sierra de Aracena before crossing the Rio Guadiana and thus the border to Portugal. Spectacular roads with countless bends take us to Faro, the capital of the Algarve. Faro is an old, fascinating city that has a lot to offer tourists. The best attractions include the charming old town with city walls (Cidade Velha), the impressive baroque architecture and a beautiful coastline.

Would you like to visit the "end of the world"? Then come with us and experience a spectacular riding day on a motorcycle. Head west along the spectacular roads of the Serra de Monchique until you reach Cabo San Vicente. The beacon of the 24m high lighthouse is said to be one of the brightest in Europe and marks the most south-westerly point of the European continent.

We leave Portugal and return to Spain. Cádiz, the oldest city in Western Europe, lies on the Atlantic Ocean in the southwest of Andalusia and is our stage today. We pass the Donana National Park, one of the largest wetlands in Spain, before visiting Arcos de la Frontera, the main town of the white villages, before arriving in Cadiz a short time later.

The journey continues spectacularly. We leave the Bay of Cadiz behind us and make our way to the Costa del Sol. Winding mountain roads, breathtaking mountain panoramas and magnificent views of the Andalusian coast accompany us on our last day back to Malaga.
