A perfect combination of great sightseeing, experiencing a completely different, unexpected culture and incredibly impressive, different landscapes.
From Spain, we cross the Strait of Gibraltar to reach African soil for the first time on this trip. We spend our first night in Morocco in the blue "pirate town" of the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen, before continuing south. Our next stop is Fes, the largest car-free urban area in the world. The donkey is still one of the most used means of transportation here. On this tour we will discover mosques, minarets, tanneries, open butcher shops and many things you can't even imagine today. The tanneries of Chuwwara have not changed their operations for centuries and are a must for your camera. The next day will take us to the small village of Merzouga, where we will experience a night in the desert. We continue to Dades, where we can admire interesting rock formations, the greenery by the river, the rocky desert environment and the simple communities that still live here in traditional houses. Marrakech, also called the "Red City" or "Ochre City", is our next destination. Here we will have the opportunity to see the Jemaa el Fna (Square of the Hanged) at night. We'll discover storytellers, magicians, snake charmers and eat at one of the hundred food stalls - we'll get the feeling of being in an Indiana Jones movie! Our next stop is on the Atlantic coast: Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and the country's economic and business center. We end our round trip through Morocco with an overnight stay in Tangier, known for its bustling medina and famous Kasbah district. Leaving Africa, we reach Spain and ride along the Spanish Mediterranean coast back to our base city of Malaga - a wonderful way to end a motorcyclist's dream vacation.
